Numerical Approach in Modeling the Electric Arc

This paper describes a PC-based calculation tool for the solution of systems of ordinary differential equations, suited for a wide range of problems encountered in scientific applications. The approach is demonstrated for the analysis of high power electrical arcing in a conceptual compact high-field tokamak.
