  • Francesca Matteucci
Part of the NATO ASI Series book series (ASIC, volume 323)

Abstract

The aim of these lessons is to show that there is evidence for chemical evolution of the interstellar gas, as proven by the spectroscopic analysis of stars of all ages in the solar neighbourhood, of interstellar molecules and of HII regions both in our Galaxy and in external ones.
