Recombination emission from CII-region around Be-Stars
Various physical processes proposed for the explanation of the flaring emissions of Hα and at 6578 Å in Be stars have been critically examined. The idea that the flaring occurs when X-ray emitting compact companion of Be-star produces the excess ionization of the shell material appears to give best agreement with observation.
