Abstract

The antropogenie emissions of haloethenes are insignificant relative to other organic compounds. However, in local areas near petrochemical industries this type of chemicals are a major concern. The mechanisms of the gas phase degradation of haloethenes are not yet fully known. Particularly the night time chemistry of these compounds needs to be studied further.
