Abstract
Six points in favour of triticale are summarised. Thus triticale can: help feed the increasing world population; help facilitate the improvement of wheat; be used in farming practices to increase wheat yields; make a contribution to basic science and knowledge; help save our soil and help us be healthier and have more fun.
