Abstract
The coronal helmet streamer of 24 January 1992 was one of the most prominent events observed with the Soft X-ray Telescope (SXT) on board the Yohkoh satellite. The helmet was interpreted as the reformation of a closed magnetic structure through reconnection, following a prominence eruption and mass ejection (Hiei et al. 1993).
