Conference Summary: Asteroids

  • A. W. Harris
Conference paper

The title of this paper is misleading on two counts. First, I do not intend to give a uniform summary of the conference, since that can be had by reading the abstracts of the papers in this volume. Instead I will give a personal perspective of the highlights and, to me, the “lowlights” of the conference. Secondly, because the boundaries between asteroids, comets, and meteors are diminishing to the point of vanishing, I shall feel free to comment on papers that you may regard as dealing with “comets” or “meteors”, as well as those relating primarily to “asteroids”.
