The Examination of Landau-Lifshitz Pseudo-Tensor Under Physical Decomposition of Gravitational Field

Abstract

Physical decomposition of gauge fields (including Abelian and non-Abelian fields) [1, 2, 3] have been widely accepted by most particle physics researchers. The authors also extended the approach to gravitational field and attacked the century-lasting problem of gravitational energy density [4]. Reference [4] gives a physical decomposition of affine connection, and raises a revisited way to compute traditional energy density formula. In this paper, we will adopt their decomposition to Landau-Lifshitz pseudo-tensor definition, and examine whether the results are reasonable or not.
