Abstract

This paper first introduces the background and technologies of telemedicine briefly. Then it introduce the development and status of remote medical monitoring system and sums up their deficiencies. In response to these deficiencies, it introduces a remote medical monitoring system, which is consist of data collecting module, pre-processing module and monitoring module. By collecting and processing three physiological data–ECG, pulse and body temperature, they system can achieve the health care of the users. This paper focuses on the pre-processing module, an Android application, installed on your smart phone based on Android platform, which can realize real-time processing of data, display it to user and give a certain degree of warning.
