Abstract

Objective compare and analyze the curative effect of exercise therapy combined with joint mobilization in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods This paper studies the cases dated from March 2011 to March 2012, including 28 cases of knee osteoarthritis patients who are randomly divided into observation group and control group, and each group contains 14 cases. Both groups of patients are taking joint mobilization to alleviate symptoms but only the observation group is supplemented with exercise therapy, then researcher compares and analyzes the curative effect of the two therapies. After treatment, both groups’ scores of JOA are improved (P < 0.05). The efficiency of observation group is higher than the control group (χ2 = 9.001, P < 0.05) and the JOA scores of observation group improves more significantly than that of the control group (t = −2.114, P < 0.05). Conclusion the exercise therapy combined with joint mobilization has an obvious curative effect on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and provides a practical value in the clinical application.
