Abstract

Along with the development of acupuncture in different parts of the world, bilingual teaching of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is highly recommended in Universities of TCM in China. Although many new-type and integrated students of TCM have been cultivated, we still have some shortcomings. After analyzing the current situation of bilingual teaching methods of acupuncture and TCM, we had put forward a method of “Three Steps of Bilingual Teaching” including “disease study step, conversation step and writing step” which have got good result, in order to further improve the quality of bilingual teaching of acupuncture in universities of TCM and promote the spread and development of TCM around the world.
