Abstract

This chapter presents the methodology and approach adopted for conducting the public awareness and partnership campaign in the basin. Focus group discussion at different levels and discussion with women has been conducted beside the questionnaire filling. The secondary data from local institutions were also collected to confirm the information received during the focus group discussion. The officers of the local government institutions like Patwari, Gram Pradhan, Village Guard, etc., were also consulted. The information was analyzed and the inferences were drawn and scaled up for the catchment.
