Abstract
At individual level, we all know how important it is to have received a good education and the impact it may have on someone’s life. Phillip Hughes is one of the many illustrations of the case of a child born in a working-class family who made a brilliant career, thanks to good teachers who raised his interest, good schools and good systems who allowed him to learn, continue his studies and reach the highest level. Philip Hughes is not the only one. Many children of poor immigrant families make it every year in France, in the UK, in Australia and in the USA and become university professor, doctors, rich businessmen/women or successful politicians because they have had access to good schools and a good education system.
