Remote Monitoring of Electric Vehicle Based on M2M in Mobile Platform

Abstract

Electric vehicles are fueled by a battery charger that transfers electricity provided by electric utilities into the vehicle battery to recharge it. This paper proposes architecture for remote monitoring of electric vehicle based on M2M(Machine to Machine) in mobile platform. This architecture is composed of mobile terminal and electric vehicles. Mobile terminal includes monitoring module, buffer, communication module, etc. And electric vehicle includes monitoring agent, logical object, memory, etc. This architecture provides a variety of the real-time sensing data such as velocity, acceleration, temperature and energy in vehicles. We design the remote monitoring system in mobile platform and electric vehicles.
