Abstract

While in the 1990s, tumor angiogenesis was considered as a process with common features, now it has been recognized that tumor type, tumor growth stage, local microenvironment and immunological status, all influence tumor angiogenesis and hence tumor vascular responsiveness to therapeutic intervention.
