Abstract
This paper provides an alternative approach for project management through a web-based decision support system. This contribution integrates XML-based web services and decision support tools through a proposed platform, which is being developed for supporting large scale projects management, in order to enable to more easily work on projects, integrating many and complex tasks to be planned and controlled.
