Abstract
Recent scientific evidence indicates that current levels of air pollution in European cities are causing significant damage to human health. Urban quality management is aimed at reaching safe levels of atmospheric pollutants. The main tasks of decision-making for air quality management and emergency response are considered. An example is provided using ozone monitoring data for environmental risk assessment and development of air quality control in Kyiv.
