Abstract
Territory of Azerbaijan due to its geographic position, aggregation of natural-climatic zones, industrial potential is a unique object of ecologic investigations. One of the most ecologically tense zones in Azerbaijan is the Absheron peninsula. Active industrialization and urbanization resulted in a constantly growing anthropogene impact on the environment which is expressed in concentration, redistribution and disperse of huge masses of chemical elements of a technogenic origin.
