Aristotle studies first figure Q+X and X+Q premise pairs in Prior AnalyticsA15. And he studies first figure Q+L and L+Q premise pairs in An.Pr. A16. Some of the tools he has at hand for these discussions get carried over from his earlier discussions of the apodeictic syllogistic. Some of the tools at hand are specific to his discussion of possibility.
