This first chapter explores what educating felt like for the students and how they made sense of their experiences. It concentrates on the interface between the individual practitioners and their accounts of enacting practice-based learning activities, i.e. at the point where they were trying to introduce practice that was new to them in their schools. It explores what happened in the school learning spaces created by a hybrid pedagogic system.
