Abstract

We describe algorithms for the LTE uplink which implement the functionalities of random access preamble detection, time and frequency synchronisation, channel estimation and equalization (including MIMO) and error correction decoding. Evaluation is done by means of preamble detection and false detection rates, error vector magnitude and bit error rates as well as packet error rates after turbo decoding.
