Nycturie betekent letterlijk ‘nachtelijk plassen’. Het is een symptoom dat bij verschillende aandoeningen voorkomt. De precieze definitie is een of meer malen in de nacht wakker te worden om te urineren en daarna weer doorslapen.1−3
