Introductie
Als neurologische symptomen in het been ontstaan, is men snel geneigd te denken aan zenuwcompressie ter plaatse van de lumbale wervelkolom. Dat is ook het geval bij deze patiënte. Het vermoeden wordt nog eens versterkt als de patiënte vertelt dat zij regelmatig rugklachten heeft. Hier is echter iets anders aan de hand.
