Samenvatting
Het spraakgeluid zoals dat op een zekere afstand van een spreker kan worden waargenomen door een luisteraar, of zoals dat kan worden geregistreerd met een microfoon, wordt gevormd door luchtdrukvariaties. Het betreft de luchtdrukvariaties die zich hebben voorgedaan bij de mondopening van de spreker en die zich als verstoringen in de atmosferische druk door de lucht hebben voortgeplant.
