Introductie

Sommige aandoeningen komen regelmatig voor maar worden vaak niet herkend door artsen of fysiotherapeuten. Zo ook bij deze patiënt met pijn in de onderarm na afloop van een roeiwedstrijd. Er blijkt hier meer aan de hand te zijn dan alleen spierpijn.

Deze casus is eerder is beschreven in de hoofdstukken 3 en 3a van Onderzoek en behandeling van elleboog en onderarm, eveneens uit de serie Orthopedische Casuïstiek.

    Peritendinitis = tendovaginitis = ontsteking van de fibreuze bindweefselbekleding van pezen (in dit geval ook van de spierpeesovergang).
