Inleiding

De volgende groepen lipideverlagende middelen zijn beschikbaar: statinen, cholesterolabsorptieremmers, galzuurbindende harsen, fibraten en nicotinezuur (zie ook tabel 20.2). De effecten van deze middelen op de serumlipiden en de lipoproteïnen zijn schematisch weergegeven in tabel 20.1.
