Inleiding

Met veel spanning heb je je abstract met de resultaten van je onderzoek ingestuurd voor je eerste congres. Een paar maanden later krijg je ’s middags een e-mail uit de Verenigde Staten: je abstract is geselecteerd voor een poster! Je kijkt je collega aan en vraagt je af of je nu blij moet zijn of niet. Je had liever een ‘oral’ gehad of is een poster eigenlijk wel zo veilig? Komt er eigenlijk wel iemand kijken naar zo’n poster?
