In de paragraaf over de omgang met de patiënt (§ 8.2) is aangegeven dat voor sommige onderdelen van het lichamelijk onderzoek een bepaalde lichaamshouding gewenst is. Ook is genoemd dat een enkele keer een patiënt een onderzoek of handeling niet toelaat.
