Abstract

Steeds vaker zullen artsen beslissingen moeten nemen over ingrijpende antikankerbehandelingen bij zeer oude mensen. Van de maligne tumoren wordt 60-70% vastgesteld bij mensen boven de 65 jaar en de levensverwachting in rijke landen neemt toe.
