Samenvatting

Er zijn meer dan 6 miljoen soorten insecten, van de meeste daarvan hebben mensen totaal geen (lichamelijke) last. Slechts enkele insecten zoeken mensen op en kunnen bijten of steken. Een enkele keer zal door een toevallig contact een doorgaans onschuldig insect zich verweren door te bijten of te steken.
