Samenvatting

Reumatische ziekten komen frequent voor. Deze heterogene groep van vaak chronische aandoeningen kan zich op diverse manieren in de mondholte manifesteren. Zo kan bij sommige van deze aandoeningen het temporomandibulaire gewricht betrokken raken. Ook gaan ziekten van het bewegingsapparaat vaak gepaard met xerostomie en orale ulceraties.
