Samenvatting
Personen die tot de kring van vrienden of kennissen behoren, kan men in de regel herkennen aan hun stem. Zoals iemand te herkennen is aan zijn gezicht of aan zijn manier van lopen, zo is aan de manier van spreken en aan de stem te horen wie het is. We lezen van het gelaat en de gelaatsuitdrukking af met wie we te doen hebben en in welke gemoedsstemming hij of zij verkeert, maar ook de stemkwaliteit licht ons daarover in, ook als we de persoon niet kunnen zien.
