Samenvatting

Ze was 71 jaar en een milde grootmoeder. Ze had een klein hartinfarct gehad, dat eigenlijk niet eens zoveel indruk op haar had gemaakt. De cardioloog had haar acetylsalicylzuur, metoprolol, simvastatine en lisinopril voorgeschreven. Drie maanden later kwam ze op mijn spreekuur ter controle. Het ging goed met haar. Ze had geen pijn op de borst en ze kon uren met haar dochter winkelen in de stad. Op mijn vraag of het haar lukte al die pillen goed in te nemen, zei ze dat dit prima gegaan was. Gegaan was? Nee, ze slikte nu niets meer, de kuur was immers afgelopen.
