Samenvatting
Uit de verhalen hierboven is af te leiden dat de puberteit een heftige periode is in het leven van een mens. Uit onderzoek blijkt dat het hersengebied dat betrokken is bij het reguleren van emoties in de puberteit al volgroeid is, terwijl het hersengebied dat emoties controleert en af kan remmen zich nog volop aan het ontwikkelen is. Vandaar dat de puberteit vaak als heftig wordt ervaren.
