Samenvatting
De vergrijzing van de bevolking is een fundamenteel gegeven in de westerse wereld. In Nederland is ongeveer 20% van de bevolking momenteel ouder dan 65 jaar en het merendeel van deze groep is in staat zelfstandig te reizen. Veel vrije tijd, prijsreducties voor gepensioneerden, laagseizoenprijzen en last-minutekoopjes vergroten de verleiding om te reizen. Ouderen vormen dan ook het snelst groeiende marktsegment van de reisindustrie.
