Samenvatting
Indicatiestelling voor psychotherapie en dan in het bijzonder schematherapie (ST) is een proces dat veelal verloopt volgens impliciete regels en kennis. Empirische gegevens ter ondersteuning van een differentiële selectie en planning van behandeling op basis van persoonlijkheidsfactoren zijn schaars (Verheul, 2007). In de praktijk wordt meestal eerst onderzocht of iemand in aanmerking komt voor psychotherapie, waarop als tweede stap gekeken wordt welke vorm van psychotherapie het meest passend lijkt bij deze individuele patiënt.
