Farmacotherapie is slechts bij een minderheid van de patiënten met draaiduizeligheid (vertigo) geïndiceerd. Ook bij deze minderheid is de effectiviteit van medicatie beperkt. Meestal treedt spontaan herstel binnen enkele weken op.
