In dit hoofdstuk wordt een overzicht gegeven van de psychologische gevolgen van het hebben van een longziekte. Gezien de relatief hoge prevalentie van astma en chronisch obstructief longlijden (COPD) wordt aan deze twee longziekten aandacht besteed.
