Abstract

Perceptive surface (SUPER) represents a new therapeutic system based on interaction between the body surface of the patient and a perceptive support through small latex hemispheres. Hemispheres consist of materials varying in height and elasticity and are applied to the bed. Patient is laid up on the bed, stimulating cutaneous and proprioceptive receptors and allowing an antalgic reflex and a relaxing action.
