L’uso del contrasto ecografico nella patologia pediatrica consente di evitare al bambino indagini più invasive, che richiedono l’uso di radiazioni o sedazione. Ad esempio, può essere indicato per la valutazione di noduli epatici o per l’identificazione di lesioni traumatiche del fegato e della milza [1, 2].
