Abstract

Mastocytosis is an overproliferation and accumulation of tissue mast cells. Mast cell disease is most commonly seen in the skin, and it occurs in adults more than children. Other organs that are involved are the skeleton, bone marrow, central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract.
