Abstract

The light from distant galaxies can take different paths. It can come into our solar system directly. It can go into free space. It can go grazingly about a star in our galaxy. In addition to this, the light can pass grazingly over a multiple number of stars in series, and finally reach our earth. Such a path need not be unique.
