Riassunto
La ricerca in questi ultimi decenni è stata in grado di offrire dati che hanno consentito di superare una visione scientifica dell’organismo: (a) parcellizzata, cioè basata sull’idea di sistemi o apparati biologici relativamente autonomi nelle loro funzioni e da ridotte comunicazioni reciproche; (b) deterministica, basata sul “dogma centrale” della genetica, che vede il fenotipo come una attuazione lineare del genotipo svincolata da influenze ambientali ed esperienziali; (c) dualistica, cioè impostata su una sostanziale separatezza tra mente e corpo [1].
