Riassunto
Il 17% circa dei pazienti con diagnosi di neoplasia prostatica viene sottoposto a trattamento radioterapico esterno [1]. Nonostante questo tipo di terapia venga utilizzato come trattamento definitivo, nel 15% dei pazienti radiotrattati considerati a basso rischio e nel 67% dei pazienti ad alto rischio si determina nel tempo un’evidenza biochimica di ripresa di malattia, sotto forma di progressivo incremento del PSA [2].
