Riassunto
Il sospetto di recidiva dopo terapia per adenocarcinoma della prostata è dato da un aumento dei livelli del PSA, che sono differenti a seconda del trattamento. Si parla di ricorrenza di malattia dopo prostatectomia radicale retropubica (RRP) per valori di PSA > 0,2 ng/mL in due dosaggi consecutivi; dopo radioterapia (RT) per almeno due aumenti consecutivi del PSA rispetto al suo valore al nadir raggiunto dopo radioterapia [1].
