Tutti i sistemi ormonali vengono colpiti in gradi diversi dal fenomeno dell’invecchiamento e l’asse gonadico dell’uomo non fa eccezione, anche se le modificazioni sono progressive e di ampiezza modesta, se confrontate con la riduzione relativamente improvvisa della produzione degli ormoni ovarici che caratterizza la menopausa nella donna.
