Abstract

Diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma is usually suspected in presence of obstructive jaundice or high cholestasis in blood test values. Currently, many preoperative studies can be used to achieve a correct diagnosis; they can be direct or indirect, invasive or non-invasive (Table 1).
