In case of an irreducible comminuted radial head fracture, a simple resection is possible to allow a precocious mobilization of the elbow. But to avoid the valgus deviation and the riding up of the radius that can happen after the resection. The medical literature reported the substitution of the radial head with a prosthesis for the first time 64 years ago.
