Le pneumopatie interstiziali (ILDs) sono un gruppo eterogeneo di patologie caratterizzate da infiammazione cronica e fibrosi progressiva dell’interstizio polmonare. Sono quadri nosologici normalmente di competenza pneumologica ed il chirurgo toracico viene interpellate solo in caso di diagnosi dubbia, se si rende necessaria la biopsia chirurgica.
