Gas, Glass and Light: Controlling Light-Matter Interactions in Microstructured Fibres

Abstract

Micro/nano-structured and photonic crystal fibres have in recent years been used to enhance light-matter interactions in many different ways. I will review some recent examples from the work of my group.
